


Adele Nails Six Grammys; Celebrities Pay Tribue to Houston
Adele won six grammy awards, ruling the major categories of song, record and album of the year on the same night celebrities paid tribute to the musicial superstar Whitney Houston Sunday night.
The English recording artist and songwriter grabbed six trophies in the 54th Grammy Awards, including the Big Three: song and record for the "Rolling in the Deep," and album for the year for "21".
Houston's death in Beverly Hilton Hotel room Saturday switched on the mute-mode in the years' biggest awards show in the evening Monday, as celebrieties mourned the loss of the late singing legend.
"There is no way around this. We've had a death in our family," show host LL Cool J opened the with a breif statement, then followed by a snip of Houston singing her romantic, "I Will Always Love You," at the Grammys.
Jennifer Hudson, the actress and former "American Idol" finalist, performed later on that day a tribute as well to Houston by singing "I Will Always Love You."
