Huawei is proud to introduce the Watch GT 4's new "sunflower" GPS, which modifies signal strength based on the orientation of the watch. Slow location locking has been a problem for me with Huawei watches in the past, but this one hasn't had that problem. It might just be a coincidence that I've had quick location locking thus far because Sunflower GPS focuses more on keeping a steady connection with a satellite to guarantee location accuracy once a lock is established. In any case, I haven't experienced any problems with the GT 4's dual-band GNSS taking a while to secure my position when I begin an activity. Personally, I haven't observed that location data accuracy has increased from previous Huawei wearables I've tested.
