Caesar salad is one of the famous and delicious salads that relies on simple ingredients but provides a great taste. Here is a simple recipe for preparing Caesar salad:
2 heads of romaine lettuce, chopped 1 cup crevice (croton), cut into small pieces 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese Grilled chicken breasts, cut into slices (optional)
2 tablespoons of butter 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon of anchovy paste 1 teaspoon mustard 1 teaspoon of lemon juice 1/2 cup of natural yogurt 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese Salt and black pepper to taste
In a small frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter and add the garlic. Cook the garlic until fragrant, then add the anchovy paste and continue cooking for another minute. In a small bowl, whisk together yogurt, mustard, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese. Add the garlic and anchovy mixture to the mixture and mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste. In a large bowl, place romaine lettuce and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top. Add grilled chicken breasts if using. Before serving, pour the dressing over the salad and gently toss to coat the ingredients with the dressing. Serve the Caesar salad immediately, and you can garnish it with fried crepes. This way, you can enjoy a delicious Caesar salad as a snack or side to a main meal.
